What's YOUR favorite season to enjoy a cabin on Palomar?
This little cabin is wonderful any time of year.

Right now you can enjoy getting to know your neighbors by stepping out your door for a walk through Crestline and around Birch Hill. . .

Oh, and it is such a 'great escape' to drive to Palomar in the spring with the variety of wildflowers painting the way to your cabin on the Mountain top.

The fall is a wonderful time of year with the drama of the
thunderstorms, patiently waiting for that first snow . . .
It is however, especially inviting, when there is a crackling fire in the woodstove with a simmering kettle of hot cider on the cook top.

This 1932 cabin has a lot to offer year round with the wood paneling and high ceilings. The present owners reworked the plumbing, and the wood stove pipe through the roof is new. They just added a new front porch, and a brand new septic system.

It is a very convenient cabin all on one level. You walk in to the living and dining area with doors to the two sleeping rooms.

You have a walk-through kitchen with good storage  and a fun, vintage sink cabinet. There is a little
utility room off the kitchen. Great place to come in after a hike, slip off your boots to relax in your cabin in the woods.

Presently there are two sets of bunks in one bedroom and a double in the other.

Some of the furnishings are negotiable, which can make it pretty easy to move in and enjoy.

The bathroom is very
'on-trend' these days with the  fixtures that are in excellent condition. I'm quite certain it was a very special day when this little room was completed making trips to the outhouse no longer necessary.

The property is on an 'L" shaped piece of land with the cabin set back for privacy 100 feet from the county maintained road.  presently being combined to one parcel  1/3 of an acre with level, easy access and extra parking and level areas suitable for an RV.

Go ahead, take a step back in time. . .  and come on up to this cozy cabin on Crestline.

The two black and white photos above were treasures found in the cabin from many years ago.
