Another bonus is the charming guest cottage-in-the-making.  It was insulated and drywalled with a pull-down ladder to the loft. A kitchenette and bathroom was planned. It is presently used for tool storage with
the future up to you. . .

The owner carved the building site out of the side of the Mountain, leaving canyons of mature oak, cedar and fir for the adventuresome hiker to explore.

There is no electric bill to complain about since this home is totally self-sufficient. You have an attached two car, drive-through garage with roll-up doors. Insulated and finished, it houses the batteries for the solar system. There are several work sheds that include the
generator back up system. The 500 gallon fuel storage tank makes it
convenient to fill up the tractor or truck that are among the negotiable items. A propane tank services the appliances and furnace.

The photovoltaic solar electrical system, with a like-new 7500 watt diesel back-up generator charges the batteries if the sun doesn't shine for several days. The electric system gives 12 and 24 volts, DC power and 110 and 220 volts of AC power. Appliances run on AC power. They include washer, dryer, 50 gallon hot water heater, central vacuum cleaner, propane wall furnace and propane fireplace. The property has it's own well that pumped 25 gallons per minute when drilled. There's a 7500 gal. water storage tank to provide water for daily use with a stand pipe for the fire department. Most cell phones work here and you use satellite for television and internet.
