This cute little cabin was discovered in Popular Mechanics and apparently there are about 40 to 50 built in San Diego County.
The owner purchased the book called Sweat Equity that he could include with the purchase. It has a material list and plans for this 'Pre fabricated, owner-built, modified A-Frame'.  It was designed to be built very economically with little waste.  The designer budgeted this cabin shown at approximately $40,000.  The owner has a contact for a lumber supply yard that gave good pricing on the lumber since he also has a mill in Oregon and has creative sources for many of the supplies.  He has done a lot of homework to pass on to you with sources for great  prices for this cabin built with "Sweat Equity".

This is just one cabin idea.
What ideas do you have for this one-third acre?
There are some beautiful boulders and mature oaks and firs on this property. It is a very nice setting.

look at the parcel map.
